CTid hardware is compatible with EG4xxx or newer.
The eGauge Sensor Hub is capable of connecting up to four sensors to the EG4xxx meter inputs. It allows for any mix of powered and non-powered sensors. Switches on the hub determine the connection of either the powered or non-powered port to the meter. An RJ-45 breakout cable connects the Sensor Hub to as many as four adjacent inputs on the meter. An RJ45 coupler is available to increase the RJ45 cable length if necessary. To connect additional sensors beyond four, multiple Sensor Hubs may be utilized with a single meter.
The Sensor Hub offers a convenient solution for extending the cable length of AC CTs without the need for splicing or altering the CT leads.
